Sun Princess

Sun Princess is the magnificent lead ship of Princess Cruises' next-generation Sphere class, delivered in February 2024 from Fincantieri in Italy. At 175,500 gross tons and 1,133 feet long, she is the largest ship ever built for Princess Cruises and carries 4,300 passengers at double occupancy. Sun Princess represents a bold evolution for the premium cruise line, introducing The Dome, a spectacular glass-enclosed entertainment venue inspired by the terraces of Santorini that transforms from a tranquil pool retreat by day into an immersive entertainment space by night. The ship features the Piazza, Princess Cruises' signature central atrium expanded across three decks with dining, shopping, and entertainment. Arena, a first-of-its-kind immersive entertainment theater with moving seating platforms, debuted on Sun Princess. Dining options span over 29 restaurants, cafes, and bars, including the signature Sabatini's Italian Trattoria and the new Umai sushi bar. The ship introduces expanded suite accommodations in The Sanctuary Collection with exclusive facilities including a private pool and sundeck. MedallionClass technology enables personalized service throughout the ship with the OceanMedallion wearable device. Sun Princess sails Mediterranean, Caribbean, and seasonal itineraries from multiple homeports, establishing a new benchmark for the Princess fleet.
